The second iteration of our custom collab with the Grape Witches, Toronto!
“A blend of the hybrid pop-star that is Frontenac (including -Gris, -Noir and -Blanc) makes up 63% of the blend with 21% acid-forward Riesling, 10% aromatic Gewürztraminer & 7% body-builder Cabernet Sauvignon rounding out the performers.
The Frontenac grapes grow at the Plainfield Vineyard, which resides on red clay soils and is located just 10 minutes north of Belleville, 35 minutes north of us – a sunny pocket of land next to a small body of water, perfect for late summer ripening.
Mainly implementing carbonic maceration means this juice rocket-soars across your palate and crash lands into an ocean of glee. Candied tangelo, cassia bark, maraschino cherries soaked in citric acid & Lord Finesse saying “…funk soul brother…”. Pour alongside any and all SNACKS ;)
Bottled with an aimed-for pressure of 3.5 bar, so chill well and open slowly!
